VIDEO: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Seriousness in National Security Policy

In the context of the controversy caused by President Bush's strange confusion of appeasement with the tough diplomatic bargaining to obtain satisfactory results which Senator Obama has proposed for a new chapter in our relations with the rest of the world and the struggle to defeat Al Qaeda and the harmful activities of the government of Iran, Nancy Pelosi commented this week on the importance of addressing with seriousness the enormous challenges to our national security interests which have been increased by the damaging national security record of the Bush administration and its allies such as John Cornyn, Mitch McConnell and John McCain.

Unfortunately, so far Senator John McCain has not proposed any serious departure from the failed record of the Bush administration in matters of national security and foreign policy.
